Encore welcomes Unity to physician roster in Lafayette region
INDIANAPOLIS – Encore Health Network, one of Indiana’s largest preferred provider organizations, is pleased to announce the addition of Unity Healthcare, a multi-specialty physician group, to its physician roster in the greater Lafayette area. Unity will bring on board more than 70 additional physicians to service Encore’s approximately 30,000 members in the area, effective 10/1/05.

“We are pleased to add Unity to our Encore Network in the Lafayette area,” said Encore Vice President, Michelle Lobe. “Unity’s addition to our PPO network provides the region and its employer groups with the benefits of a complete choice of local providers and substantial savings through their health plans,” she said.

Unity Healthcare has more than eleven locations serving the Greater Lafayette and surrounding areas and includes primary care and specialty care physicians, along with ambulatory surgery, outpatient imaging, outpatient radiation oncology and immediate care centers.
