Encore has increased Elkhart General Hospital’s discount by 6% to further promote their level of care and facility.



In August 2008, Elkhart General’s Cancer Care program earned its second Outstanding Achievement award located in northern Indiana to be so recognized. The Outstanding Achievement Award followed a rigorous evaluation process and review of performance, including an on-site evaluation by a physician surveyor.

Only 66 cancer programs out of the 453 surveyed nationwide received the latest award. What makes the award particularly significant is the fact that Elkhart General Hospital has received this recognition for two consecutive survey periods – acknowledgment that the Hospital has been providing superior cancer care to patients day-in and day-out for over eight years.
