Encore donates helmets for Family Fun Night
July 2006
Encore donated 25 kids helmets to The Forrest – Sherer Insurance Agency in Terre Haute. Forrest – Sherer held their family Fun Night on May 2006. The annual event is an opportunity for the agency’s children to interact with other coworker’s families and play games. The children also received bicycle safety information which is used in Encore’s Helmet Up Program.
Helmet Up gives Encore even more opportunities to give back to the communities in which they do business. Hundreds of free bicycle helmets have been handed out to kids all over Indiana, and Encore has traveled to numerous cities teaching children about bicycle Safety.
“The children really enjoyed the helmets we gave at Forrest – Sherer’s Family Fun Night,” said Jenny Rhodus of Encore Health Network. Forest –Sherer is a full service insurance brokerage firm who focuses on business to individual property and casualty medical. Their family Fun Night is held every summer to give back to employees and their families. Donna Barlett of Forrest – Sherer stated, “the helmets were fun as well as useful. The parents appreciated them as much as the kids.”
